Hamilton is based off the Boston Region. It uses the same landmass, and general look, but the actual districts and regions are different.

These are summaries, are meant to be an OOC look to the area. While some parts are things your character could know, the vast majority of this section is just Information for you, the player.

Downtown[]

Downtown, or the old town, is the most compact area of Hamilton. The architecture and building styles are still of the old ways, showing off ancient and historic sites. While most of old Boston had been burned down, the housing from the 1820's still stand.

Much of the area has been modernized however, both in the 1900's to act as the housing area for the miltiary bases, and then for the actual businesses that built around.

While there are houses, mostly apartments and condos, in this area, the prices here easily goes for over a $1,000,000 dollars to own a condo, and around $3,000 to rent an 1 bedroom apartment . Only the very rich, or those who have ancient roots, still remain here.

Chinatown is located here, and while the area is no longer completely chinese, it is the home of most of the 'ethic' and 'oriental' parts of the city. Rumor has it that this area is controlled by the Triad.

With how old the area is, vampires -- specifically the Camarilla -- call this place home and their main locale. The area however is far too open to have full control, and many other supernatural breeds visit the area. However, it is well documented as Vampire territory.

The Docks[]

The docks is relatively 'new' by city standards, having been forced to completion by just a lot of money in the 1910's. The Royal Navy Dockyard is half military, and half civilian. While the navy base here is massive, the civilian area is just as big, handling commercial shipments and freighter routes. The Docks is the entry point to the United States for most people coming by ship, and this weird system of being both military and civilian has its effects.

The area is both, one of the most scrutinized and well guarded areas, and yet the most corrupt with hundreds of barely legal businesses, drug deals, and prostitution rings that happen on the daily.

Overseeing this area are the Technocrats, hidden underneath in the Labyrinth.

Clarise Isle[]

Clarise Isle initially wasn't part of Boston, nor Hamilton, until the 1940's. Because of this, the people here tend to be rich and more true to the ancient Boston roots. Clarise Isle is considered snobby, and a gated community by Hamilton. While there is a bridge that leads over to them, most people visiting tend to take the ferry.

Housing here begins at $3,000,000 and only goes up. Most of the people here are old money.

Two groups of people claim this area, one more prominent than the other. The 'major' group that controls the area is a series of Wyrmfoe kinfolk that own the "Wolfs Lodge" mansion, a private country club that only accepts the 'best'.

The other group, that actually owns the area are the newly risen Fallen. Clarise Isle has been the home of many cults, and the old history does in fact trace back to demon worship.

Cabbagetown[]

Cabbagetown was a derogatory term for the series of shacks that the Irish Immigrants had set up 'far' away from the civilized people of Hamilton in the 1840's. Cabbagetown never really moved on from being a set of Ghettos, and while near the city, it has always been downwind of the industrial area. Rent here is cheap, the people here are poor but strong with plenty of heart.

Hope and resilience was a major part of the facility, and most of the major unions had begun in the humble streets of Cabbagetown. While the Bonegnawers and Fianna had found a home here, the resurgence of the dream made this area the biggest spot for the newly brought in Fae.

Hamilton Commons[]

Hamilton Commons is the suburbs, the middle-class area that most people live in. The housing here is relatively high, but not prohibitive enough for families to live in or rent. Traffic here is congested, with many people from different walks of life coming to rest. The area is suburbia, with many locations based on residential and commercial support to that.

With how expansive and 'homely' the commons are, no group can take claim of the region.

Sunnyville[]

Sunnyville is the newest area to be brought into the Hamilton Metropolis. With how new it is, the houses are modern, and the area is an example of urban development done right. Houses here tend to be cheap, since the drive to Hamilton is over an hour long if the traffic is good.

The biggest place to note of this new development is Arcadia College, a trades school focused on teaching youth practical works like morticianry, being a plumber, or fitness.

Arcadia College is handled by the Tradition Mages, and is kept on the down low. The Traditions haven't had a foothold in Hamilton for over 300 years, and finally have re-emerged.

White Pines[]

White Pines is the oldest area of Hamilton, being a reward from the war of Boston. The area is officially considered a Reserve, but thanks to new guidelines and constant adjustments, the actual Native Reserve has been sectioned off to the Actual Forest and the trail around. A casino is located here, and most of the area is considered a park. Very people, outside of historians or Natives, tend to spend too much time here.

To no surprise, the werewolves call this place home. It is currently under the watch of a Uktena Chief, having been handed power from the Wendigo. This area however, used to belong to the Croatoans.

Mattapan[]

Mattapan is farmland. It's the area away from the city that very few people see, existing mostly as the local source of food. With how distant it is, taking over 2 hours to reach the docks or downtown, many people forget this area actually has a say in the city politics.

With how isolated this area is, it has become the staging grounds of the Sabbat.

Harvester's Park[]

Harvester's Park is a wooded forest that had plans for development that had gotten block. Currently, it's a National Park, but that's being contested to make way to becoming housing for a new industrial sector. With no one really living here, it has become the home of the gangrel, exiles, and anyone wishing to remain away.
